To write a review about a real estate agent / Team , is something I thought I would never do. Reason for doing that is that I have NEVER had an experience with any of them which was even remotely close to being half decent. That idea of real estate agents completely took a U-Turn after hiring Raj Puri ( who kept re-iterating to me that he would change my perspective of realtors). Our biggest challenge in selling our semi was that the house next door sold for almost 20% less that the average selling price on the street. After interviewing about 5 agents we narrowed it down to Raj , and boy did he deliver. Raj Puri together with Aman Dhaliwal , I would say went above and beyond and got us the value which were anticipating ( higher than the home value). Also keep in mind that the property was sold in May 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic around. In regards tot the buying of the property , I can say my requirement of selecting a property was one of the most specific ( house direction / house shape/ area requirement / finished basement etc... and a long list). I have to applaud the team effort of AMAN and RAJ , as after looking at almost 100 properties , we bought our dream house on the day it was listed and UNDER the asking price. My fiancé and I had been searching for a home in the GTA for over 1 year. We had tried our luck with other real estate agents in the beginning and it unfortunately did not work out and left us with a bad taste in our mouth. We continued to look for our dream home on our own and came upon a house that was listed with Raj Puri Puri. We called him on a Friday night and Raj Puri Puri and Save Max Real Estate team made it a priority accommodate a viewing the very next morning at 10:30. As soon as we met with Raj Puri, he demonstrated to us that this was not just a job to him; it was a passion. Due to our bad experience with real estate agents, we were hesitant to trust anyone in the field, but this soon changed. He built a relationship with us that was based on trust, transparency and honesty. We could tell that Raj Puri's priority was to work with his clients and for his clients - not for money like others that we have come across. One of the problems we had with other real estate agents was the pressure to buy - Raj Puri was not 'pushy', he guided us through the process and made recommendations with his clients' best interest in mind. He made us feel comfortable with all of our decisions, but was honest and upfront when he felt we may have been making a mistake. For example, he the took time to send us comparable listings and discussed our concerns with us to ensure that we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. He encouraged us to consult with family members on each decision, which is something my fiancé and I have not been exposed to with other agents. After we informed him that we really liked the home, he was quick to arrange a second presentation for our family members to see the home that same day. Once again, this type of customer service is unparalleled. We could tell right away that Raj Puri is very competent and knowledgeable when it comes to property and the process of purchasing a house. My fiancé and I have never purchased an already built home and we were so thankful that we had the opportunity to meet with someone willing to take so much time to educate us. He pointed key features and upgrades, that we would not have noticed on our own but that's not to say he did not point out the negatives as well. As we did not have an agent, Raj Puri acted unbiased and informed of everything we needed to know before submitting an offer. During the presentation he guided us through the home pointing out features that set this house aside from others. He affirmed these facts by presenting us examples and evidence from other listings - this was very important to us because this house was on the higher side of the budget and we felt that we had been cheated and pressured to place higher than necessary offers with other agents in the past. When we decided that this was 'the' house, Raj Puri was there throughout each step and allowed us freedom to make our own decisions regarding our offer, but also informed us of why he felt our decision may not be the best option. When we decided to stick to our guns and not listen to him - he still supported us (we eventually placed our trust in Raj Puri and listened to him). He educated us on what he felt was appropriate and was able to back up statements with experience and evidence. We can honestly agree that if it was not for Raj Puri and his experience, we likely would not have been able to purchase this home. Like I said above, Raj Puri was completely unbiased and selfless during the negotiating process - he is truly a professional. Anyone purchasing a home in the GTA understands that this process can be extremely stressful, especially if you have been looking for as long as we have. Raj Puri lifted this stress off of our shoulders and took it upon himself to make us feel comfortable that our offer was fair and reasonable. He continued to provide positive encouragement and that we have nothing to worry about. He even recommended professional and trustworthy people who later assisted us with the financial aspects of purchasing a home. Raj Puri continued to work with us and support us even after the conditions of the deal had been met. Hi, I am writing this folks and wanted to share my views for Sanjay Parikh and Raj Puri.
